BCD Hoover Center Executive Director Reverend William Robinson was recently awarded the Shared Vision/Real Award in the program area of economic deveopment presented by Foundation for the Mid South.
According to Senior Orogram Manager Dr. Beverly Divers-White, the award recognizes the special contributions of individuals who have made difference in the lives of others through community service in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.Robinson,who is also National Policy Chairman for the Global Ministries of the United Methodit Church,has administered the programs and services for BCD for 20 years. Robinson said to be considered for an award of such caliber is an honor.
" I'm privileged to be a recipient of the Award. Through BCD, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the social challenges affecting our communities. I consider it a blessing to serve", Robinson said.

This year marks the Foundation for the Mid South's 10th-year Leadership Award and Anniversary.
BCD Hoover Center and the Foundation are partners in community development initiatives.
